If you have any questions about finding your way around the
airport look out for one of our Airport Ambassadors - they are here
from 8am until 8pm seven days a week and they will have the
answer!
Our Airport Ambassadors make a difference by:
- Operating the three Airport Help kiosks to provide
visitors with information and assistance on Airport services and
facilities to meet their immediate requirements
- Assist with passenger queuing in the MPI area of Christchurch
International Arrivals, directing passengers to the appropriate
queue depending on their citizenship and declaring needs
- Assist passengers to use the NZ Customs Smartgate passport
process using the electronic passports
- Being the first point or last point of contact for many people
visiting the airport
We provide our Ambassadors with a smart uniform not only to
reflect a Christchurch Airport Company public image but also that
you look good and feel great, wear it with pride and feel part of
the wider Airport Team. Parking is also provided.
It takes a very special person to volunteer, and we are grateful
for the generosity of our Ambassador Team many of who have been
with us since the start of the programme and all our Ambassadors
are a valuable asset to the airport.
We are always excited to welcome new faces to our team. If
you would like to register your interest in becoming an Airport
Ambassador please submit the attached application form and we will
send you an invitation to the next information session.
